Don's Honda RT5000 Tire Conversion

A tire/wheel conversion using ATV tires.

This conversion took a good deal of thought and $$$. Don used blank rims (no centers) and had custom centers made to fit the Honda's hub and bolt pattern. The centers were welded into the rims with an offset calculated to give clearance for the wider lug tires.

I'm sorry, but I have only these pictures and Don's general account of his conversion (email sent to him bounces these days). I don't know exactly which tires/wheels he used. Just about any custom wheel shop could do equivalent work... but it's unlikely to be cheap. Anybody have a buddy with a Bridgeport mill?
